Summary of Key Responsibilities:

• Act as an extension of the Program Manager and Global Account Manager to execute on existing contracts with those clients.
• Handle multiple customer inquiries, process orders and resolve customer issues promptly using root-cause analysis.
• Secure market level pricing feedback from customers and provide timely price quotations and/or proposals.
• Expedite backorders to maximize fill rates and customer satisfaction.

Skills, Knowledge, and Education Required :

• Demonstrated knowledge of distribution or other sales environments.
• Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills, including the ability to communicate on all levels within internal and external groups.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Good team player.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Ability to work efficiently and meet tight deadlines.
• Experience in project management, including the ability to source products, quote customers, process transactions, and monitor customer fulfillment.
• Must have Microsoft excel working knowledge and experience
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Associate / Bachelors degree, technical school training preferred.
• Two years of Project Management experience in the fastener industry or equivalent experience preferred
• Familiarity with automated order entry systems & PCs running Windows based software.
• Knowledgeable and current about market, customers and vendors.

Language Ability:

Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization. Ability to effectively communicate with customers and staff to make an accurate assessment of customer needs. Ability to create and make presentations.

Mathematical Skills:

Ability to verify and calculate figures such as commissions. Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations required to accurately complete assigned tasks.

Reasoning Ability:

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, or schedule form. Ability to use sound judgment and problem solving skills to analyze customer problems and to recommend the proper course of action. Ability to organize and prioritize job projects and requirements.

Computer Skills:
